Coach Mike brings his clients 40 years of career experience, and many years in
management and leadership coaching with Caterpillar Inc., a Fortune 100 company.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from
Knox College, and his MBA from Bradley University. He holds a certificate in
logistics from the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Engineering and he is
working toward his PhD in management and organization—with a specialization in
leadership—at Capella University.
To become a certified coach, Mike’s training involved 22 weeks of intensive,
“hands on” experience through Coach Training Alliance (CTA). He has also
completed additional Executive Coach training from CTA and is an active member
of the International Coach Federation.
Mike resides in the great prairie state of Illinois with his wife and two
daughters. He enjoys family activities, boating, fishing, hiking, reading,
music, tasting fine wines and camaraderie with good friends. Coach Mike also
likes to get together with other business professionals in his “off hours” for
lively discussions about best practices in coaching.
Mike proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and his
civic and community involvement has always been a centerpiece in his life. For
example, while living in York, Pennsylvania, he served on the Board of Trustees
for York College and the Board of Directors for Crispus Attucks Community
Center. In addition, he has volunteered at local food pantries and as a business
advisor to Junior Achievement teams.
